Residential Internal Modifications
Structural Inspection & Modification—Hornsby, NSW
We have successfully delivered numerous structural inspections and modification designs for residential and commercial buildings up to two stories.
For this project, the client engaged us to carry out a general structural inspection and assess proposed reconfigurations.
The scope included:
• Removal of internal load-bearing walls adjacent to the kitchen at ground floor level along grid lines C/2–3 and C/3–4 [Fig. 1]
• A feasibility study to assess the possibility of enlarging an opening in the secondary façade by removing the wall section between an existing window and door—including the window sill—to form a single 5.00 m-wide opening
Our assessment focused on structural viability, safety, and compliance with relevant standards to support the client’s renovation goals.

Alteration and Extensions
We’ve successfully delivered structural designs for a wide range of home extensions and reconfigurations, helping clients bring their architectural visions to life with confidence.
Our service includes a thorough assessment of how proposed changes may affect the existing structure, along with smart reinforcement solutions where needed. We provide tailored structural designs that support both safety and creativity—ensuring your project moves forward smoothly and meets all compliance requirements.
Project Highlight—Marsden Park, NSW
The proposed extension features a slab-on-ground construction with edge beams, internal beams, and supporting piers. The design includes a brick veneer ground floor and a timber-framed roof structure.
To minimise the risk of floor finish cracking at the junction between the new and existing structures, we’ve incorporated a strategic row of dowels at key connection points—ensuring long-term durability and a seamless finish.

Retaining Structures
Retaining Wall Project—The Hills Shire, North-west Sydney
Retaining structures are civil engineering elements designed to stabilise soil at slopes or heights that would otherwise be unstable.
We have delivered numerous retaining wall solutions across a wide range of sites.
For this project, our scope involved designing access and a series of retaining walls to form stepped terraces on sloping ground. The solution implemented was a gravity wall system constructed from sandstone logs, providing both structural stability and a natural aesthetic that complements the local environment.

New Buildings
New Build—Workshop Facility | Albury, NSW
We specialise in the delivery of new buildings and have successfully completed several residential and industrial projects.
For this project, we were engaged to design the structural system for a workshop facility. The building features a combination of steel and timber framing, supported on reinforced concrete footings—providing a robust and cost-effective solution tailored to the client's needs.

Multistory Buildings
We have successfully delivered low-rise buildings of up to 8 stories across various international locations.
While structural systems vary by project, most designs have featured mixed reinforced concrete superstructures, including columns, slabs, and shear walls. For the substructure, we've employed a range of solutions, such as concrete slabs-on-ground, strip and pad footings, or indirect founding methods like piling, tailored to suit site conditions and project requirements.
Project Scope—Mixed-Use Commercial & Residential Building
We were engaged to deliver the structural design for a mixed-use commercial and residential development for a local client.
Located in a high seismic zone, the structure was designed for enhanced performance and resilience. We implemented a ductile superstructure using a hybrid system of load-bearing shear walls and reinforced concrete portal frames, complemented by concrete floor slabs that provide horizontal bracing and overall structural integrity.
